Position summary:

Crownlands is seeking an experienced clinical data architect to strategize and execute integration of full EHR patient records to our multimodal, multi-omic registries. This includes clinical records, unstructured notes, radiology, etc. You’ll create our standard data model and collaborate with hospital and clinic partners to set data integrations and transform any incoming data to match. The role will be more external facing than most clinical data roles, as you will help us in the business development process explain and convince partners of our clinical data plan and safety.

Key responsibilities:

• Implement common data models where possible, or custom standard models for Crownlands when needed, to create a holistic structured clinical picture for our patient registry.
• Own ETL/ELT and de-identification across clinical databases in multiple systems, countries, and languages.
• Build a structured database in collaboration with our computational biology team and a data lake for comprehensive, information lossless storage.
• Demonstrate our competence and security to external partners. Play a significant role in business development as part of our hospital-facing team.
• Collaborate across disciplines, contributing your expertise while embracing a generalist mindset to tackle complex scientific challenges. Contribute to company-wide decision making.
• Help shape the culture of a pioneering team dedicated to impactful and socially beneficial research.

Skills summary:

Education and Experience: 3-10 years of professional experience.

Technical Proficiency:

• Domain knowledge in healthcare and informatics data, including different data schema.
